Pros
Work faster get done faster. Don't have to work hard to be "good enough". Put chips on shelf. You could be home in time for kids after school.
Cons
PREFORMANCE PAY IS A REGRESSIVE PAYSCALE. What I mean by that is as you are on a route you are expected to keep doing more work month after month but the pay will stay the same. After a couple of years of this a rout that started out at 35k a week will be 45K a week in volume and you'll be still getting the same pay. Low pay, new hires are expected to work longer hours. overtime paid on a BS variable rate. No one is held accountable for their work. Little to no upward mobility in union shops. may be different elsewhere. Cant enjoy days off when you know you're going back to extra work for taking a day off. There's way more cons then pros. DSL wants you to work extra days constantly and they hardly pay any better than a regular day. If I am going to work a 6th day I better be making at least 1.5x a normal day.
