Cons
Frito lay company is great, but the retail stores (Walmart,Publix,Kroger’s etc) whom you’ll be servicing will make or break your experience. Routes are given based on seniority so expect to work the least attractive routes which usually, aren’t attractive for good reason. The retail store managers know the managers at Frito lay will side with them (they are the big purchase customers after all), therefore if you don’t cater to them and their wants and needs they will make it hell. Catering to the businesses who support your paycheck isn’t a problem, but when you are scheduled to hit 2-3 stores everyday, it gets annoying when store managers are inpatient and believe their store should be prioritized. It is horrible during holiday season. They will call your supervisor, who will then call you and basically tell you to suck up. It’s doable at first but as you go on you might not enjoy working for an employer who makes it known verbally and through actions, that they do not have your back.
