Pros

The pay is decent Paid vacation

Cons

The hours are not sustainable full time employees are always being told not to come in or being sent home with many full time employees struggling to pay their bills and care for their families financially The work environment is heavily biased based on race, heavy favoritism and seniority Management twists situations to benefit them and keep themselves from being introuble after constantly violating PepsiCo corporate nation wide policies Some departments are forced to do the job of the sanitation department which complicates every day responsibilities HR does not answer their phones and very rarely respond to emails of high importance this also goes for management as well they often ignore communication from employees The working conditions are dangerously hot year round and most people don’t make it more than 3 months before quitting Work schedules are set but the actual amount of hours is not reflecting of real schedules set so often employees lose 3 days a week to a full week schedule in some situations Management doesn’t take action when food and safety risks are reported and when they do sometimes look into these reports the overall solutions are not sufficient to fixing the problem Managers have participated in wage theft on more than one occasion to “fit the companies needs” Employees with seniority are offered more hours while employees with less seniority are forced to stay home in most cases employees with more seniority are offered overtime before employees with less seniority are offered hours in exchange for their base pay which makes no sense why pay time and a half when the company can save on the base pay of an employee with less seniority Management often does not walk the floor or hold their supervisors accountable for not following safety/food safety guidelines Management/upper management recieve bonuses on a regular basis while the workers making the work happen are shorted and seldom receive any type of acknowledgment for their hard work sometimes management will offer us pizza but it’s very rare and while we’re getting pizza for standing in a near 140 degree Fahrenheit environment consistently burning ourselves on the nearly 500 degree machines management is getting a cut of the profit for sitting in the air conditioning comfort of their offices The company also steals sick time by using sick time anytime you call out to cover missed time even if you inform the call out line you would like to call off and not use a sick day because your not sick so when you actually need to use sick time it’s not their for you to use Employees are often forced to do things they are not required to by company policy and refusal to do something that is not required of you mostly results in coaching and write ups further making this environment unstable and mentally hostile

Pros

Pay is ok and great benefits.

Cons

No work life balance. Held accountable for more and more and way too much micro managing lately. Routes are uneven some heavy and some baby routes. Routes run 7 days a week while other vendors dont. You work every holiday except Christmas unless a holiday is on your day off. Plus you work every weekend you work unless your one of the lucky ones. And if something happens in your personal life you have to deal with it after working long hours too much of a pain to call in. They love to say you will be held accountable as its almost a threat.
