Pros
Possible to get a lot of experience because they make promises to clients while lacking the resources and staff to fully deliver.
Cons
Management spends most of its time running around putting out fires. You'll be told to work on this project that is two weeks over-due, causing your other projects to become over-due. Management has no interest in resolving this issue. Huge turn-over rate, as people get enough experience to get a job elsewhere. People lasting 6 months was impressive. Pay is lackluster, specially for the hours expected. Favoritism is rampant. Employees safety is not a major concern - but making money at the upper levels is. Rarely saw materials being disposed off properly - was told to pour a number of things down the sink.
