The new business model is built for long term success. The company has a C-level leadership team that really understands the ULC strategy. Overall I believe the company is making a deliberate effort to improve the customer’s experience. Flight benefits are nice.
Cons
If you are considering a job offer from Frontier please read this review very carefully before accepting the offer. The work environment at Frontier is very difficult, but there might be some people who thrive in this type of environment. The number one problem is the culture and leadership of the company. Over the last two years 75% of the Directors and above have left the company. It appears that the leadership’s goal is to drive performance of all employees through fear of losing their job! In my time at Frontier I interacted with people from every department and a week didn’t go by where someone didn’t mention the possibility of getting fired. This is especially dangerous when everyone is expected to do more with less resources and people. No matter what department you work in, expect to work long hours with very little recognition. In addition, the leadership team is very confrontational with employees of all levels. If you aren’t use to getting yelled at, then Frontier isn’t the place for you. Another, difficult thing about working for Frontier is the company’s reputation is well known in the Denver area. When you tell people, you work at Frontier they give you the same look that someone gives you when you tell them your dog just died. At first you try to stick up for the company but after a couple of months you get used to nodding your head and listening to them complain about how Frontier mistreated them. This, combined with terrible pay and benefits make hiring at Frontier very hard. It is sad to think about how many great employees Frontier misses out on, when they found out about the joke of a PTO policy!
