Working the closing shift leaves you with a lack of teamwork having no one willing to cover you if an emergency arises or you become sick. I would cover others shift as well as my own & even filled in as a floater at other locations but when I had the flu I had to work with a face mask because they wouldn't let me off. I tried to excel in the company and was always overlooked. I had a manager that spent time locked away in her office or away handling personal business. There was a lot of favoritism shown and clicks inside the company. To get ahead it's all in who you know.
