Pros
The staff you work with on an everyday basis is like family. They truly do hire the best into their company. And the 401k/profit sharing plan is excellent. Overall, I would still recommend this company for these reasons, but would not suggest that you stop your search for bigger and better things.
Cons
The pay is not equal to the responsibility given to the position. Recently, Frost raised their minimum hourly wage to $15/hr for new emoloyees. But still have not offered a comparable wage increase to their Tenured staff that have stayed loyal to them. Managers expect more responsibility from their retail staff, but after receiving results that go above and beyond their expectations, they are still reluctant to consider these individuals for promotions or appropriate raises. Too many times, managers play favorites and sometimes even discourage current employees from applying for open positions.
