Upper middle management is constantly threatening everyone's jobs. Their policies and procedures change weekly. Drug use and alcohol abuse are rampant among all levels of employees, from newbies to upper management. It's a very toxic environment and continues to become moreso as management continues to walk through the revolving door. Upper management has either never been under the hood in a shop, or it's been so long that they've completely lost touch with reality. They took away sales bonuses for techs and didn't believe in raises, so the bare minimum effort is given. The doors are operating with inadequate tools and equipment. Everything is always "shoot me an email and we'll get that fixed", but that never happens. The only thing FSA cares about, and I mean the ONLY THING, is their bottom line. Not you, not the horrid conditions of the shops, not your safety. In one breath, they tell you to not give any coupons or discounts and in the next they tell you they just had a giant $25 off coupon drop. It doesn't matter what you do, because if you happen to clear the unattainable sales goals, they increase them so much, that you'll never meet the metrics again. The training is an absolute joke all done by CBT. Most managers don't understand how labor, sales, and inventory affect their performance or bonus. Shop managers are working 6 or 7 days a week, open to close, for substandard salaries.
