Pros

Unit coworkers worked together and cared deeply about the patients

Cons

I was warned by a former employee to not work here. I lasted less than a year due to a riot that occurred when we were understaffed for acuity with a house officer who WAS NOT a nurse. Seven people went to the hospital and the police was called. Fuller then tried to deny my workers comp claim when I was injured. Mandations happen ALL the time as the hospital DOES not staff accordingly for the type of patients and behavior at the hospital. Buzzfeed put out an article about UHS hospitals and the dangers there. Passionate, caring team, who are there to make a markable difference in the lives of those patients willing to put in the effort to find mental stability and lifelong success.

Cons

Rarely mandating staff, but they pay time and a half for mandations.
