Hired right out of college, it's been a great experience thus far. Nice benefit package. Have the opportunity to work with great folks, right from my Division director to my boss, and some exceptional folks in the IT department (You need a friend in IT).

Cons

No matter your level of experience in this field, you don't have admin privileges to your computer, you'll have to call IT for everything, and I mean everything. Sometime you might feel dummy down with the technology you're left to work with. Only 30mins for lunch.

It's government so you can only do so much with all the red tape. Progression is slow. Room to grow is limited.
