Local government is exciting and an important entity which ensures the county and its respective city residents receive essential services. Critical decisions are made on a county level. Many talented young professionals are brought on and eager to learn and contribute to the organization.
Cons
Many long term employees, especially managers and administration, are stuck in the "tradition" of how things have always been done and don't practice any level of innovation or forward thinking.
