The current superintendent is focused on hiring young principals and there is no due process for administrators. - Administrator Fulton County Schools Employee Review

Pros

There was an assistant principal organization to support each other and share concerns. Candidates ages 25-40 are encouraged to apply for administrative positions.

Cons

The superintendent is focused on replacing experienced, dedicated, high-performing individuals ages 45-60 with young, inexperienced principals and assistant principals with no experience in order to save money and increase his own salary. Some of these individuals have verbally stated that they are not ready to be a principal, some have cried in peer meetings due to the overwhelming expectations and lack of preparation. There is no appreciation for loyalty and no job security or reason given for not renewing a contract no matter how well you perform your job or care about children.
