Bad Company if you don't "fit" - Recruiting Manager Futures Consulting Employee Review

Pros

The pay is good but the commission structure is 💩.

Cons

IF you're not a white male from the south or think and act like one then this might not be the right company for you. They pay good (55-65k) but have little room for commissions with their current "draw" structure. The most challenging part of working there is being promised several things that don't come to fruition. Nobody in their building likes them so it's not a great place to work at in terms of like-ability. They basically make a lot of money and treat you poorly so the turnover rate is terrible. If you have a lot of time on your hands to waste or don't like yourself this is the place for you.

Pros

I cannot think of one

Cons

Employees have no say in how to better the company. As commission salesmen we had to work set hours and make up missed time and would be threatened that we would not get paid if not made up. Also, the owner does not invest any money back into the company. The office is old and tiny, everyone packed in like sardines. We were not allowed to leave the office to visit customers. Basically, they want to hire young used car salesmen and mold them into their little puppets! Most all employees who have left never were paid the balance of their commissions. Yes, balance. When our clients would pay us management would "hold" the money for 90 days and would spoon feed it to us.
