Pros
What was once a company filled with upper management who spent more time passing the buck and pointing fingers in other directions than actually accomplishing anything, is now a lighter company headed in the right direction. Changes have been made, and while difficult to adjust to for some, these changes will help to strengthen GDI moving forward. The new policies and procedures that have been put into place have defined the company and it is up to the current employees to decide if they want to change and move forward, fight the change and create chaos, or refuse the change and find some other place for employment. The vision for the future - with new business acquired up north, and here in Central Illinois, looks very positive.
Cons
Employee Morale and companywide communication is lacking. The company does not have a strong program in place to strengthen and promote employees from within.
