Pros

What I will say is that I am not micromanaged. I am able to fuel where I want and take the route I feel is necessary which is a huge relief.

Cons

Wages - When companies that do similar contract work is paying over $4.00 more than the introductory rate is depressing. They pass their pay scale off of a 70 hour work week, which is rarely achieved nor wanted. Plus their $50.00 per week bonus for safety and paperwork. Taco Bell hires with close to the same wages as a professional driver. Work/Life Balance: Coming from off the road, you expect to be home somewhat more. Expect 12-14 hour days, just to be home for your ten which includes commute to/from the yard. If you decide to lighten the load, you risk losing income substantially. Dispatch: Nine times out of ten I feel like a bother when contacting dispatch. They want messages 100%, but sometimes you need to talk to a human. Equipment: Old and warn. Trailer are as old as some new hires. Trucks are hit and miss with new ones coming in. This is a company that was hit hard with the pandemic when it comes to equipment.

Pros

A great caring terminal manager

Cons

They love to fire people that get sick. New HR guy doesn't give a crap about longevity or the health of the employees
