Pros
1. Get experience fast because of your expectation to run the projects with not so much guidance 2. Lot of bonding between the consulting and analyst team members, but the bonding is over struggles in this role mostly 3. Can't complain about the benefits, good 401k, other good perks generally 4. Better "culture" than before 5. Actually diverse, nice & smart people Had to resubmit due to submission policy issues
Cons
1. Constantly in stressful situations during projects, most employees who work with software say it is stressful, not a lot of change in terms of making projects smoother 2. Little organization / infrastructure for the team that builds and implements the solutions 3. Badly scoped work 4. No clear role or path forward in career terms, lot of customer service type work and not a whole lot of creative solution opportunities 5. Leads to being overworked, hard setting boundaries 6. Fixing things in the software you have already fixed multiple times during projects, difficult working with developing team 7. Very old systems/tech 8. Overall frustrating and anxious work env.
