      GE is a big company with a lot of room to move. It also provides great differentiation to its employess through performance based raises.

      Cons

      You must perform well, its so big that there is a TON of competition for top performance when at GE.

      -Easy internal transfers to learn new components of the engines -Good benefits and hybrid schedule -Ability to travel -Ability to move between engineering groups during downturns on projects

      Cons

      -High attrition and turn over rate for experienced engineers and managers due to company needs in different sections -Lack of access to mentors -Movement towards outsourcing of roles to out of country (USA) -Depending on role, you will be working extra hours and weekends to meet delivery
