      At GE Aviation people are performing a very wide set of technical activities and are called upon to cross train in a wide variety of tasks

      Cons

      the company is too large and too cheap. People become numbers and do not get treated like people. The also skimp on everything from health benefits to office supplies

      -Easy internal transfers to learn new components of the engines -Good benefits and hybrid schedule -Ability to travel -Ability to move between engineering groups during downturns on projects

      Cons

      -High attrition and turn over rate for experienced engineers and managers due to company needs in different sections -Lack of access to mentors -Movement towards outsourcing of roles to out of country (USA) -Depending on role, you will be working extra hours and weekends to meet delivery
