Pros
The bonus is good and If you’re fortunate enough to negotiate a strong salary, otherwise the pros are limited.
Cons
The workplace and overall culture are highly toxic, by far the worst I have experienced. The workload and stress levels are extremely high. Employees are afraid to make mistakes, and when mistakes do occur, they get blamed and there is no support available even from colleagues. Micromanagement is pervasive, and many members of management behave as though they are above everyone else. You constantly get judged. Layoffs and terminations can happen abruptly and without clear justification. GEMSPET continues to lean and downsize aggressively, creating an environment where nothing feels secure and stress remains consistently high. Job roles can be changed easily through pressure or manipulation. Conditions are even more challenging for engineering, production and shopfloor employees, who constantly face quality issues. Most employees spend their days rushing to meet deadlines, resolve quality concerns and handle field problems, often feeling directionless and overwhelmed. Your heart constantly beats and It truly feels as though you are walking on eggshells on a daily. You are fortunate if you manage to protect your mental well‑being and leave in one piece.
