Great people to work with for lower managers and hourly employees. A lot of knowledge and very willing to help you suceed. Salary was fair to above average. Benefits were average to sub par to the size of GE and the amount of employees with GE

Where do I begin... If you are a salaried employee expect to have no life. If you decide to not work on your WEEKEND off then you are not a part of the "crowd." If you take your paid time off you get punished for it by being forced to work the weekend. Expect no help from corporate or upper managers to help accomplish any task and when the stuff rolls down hill you are blamed and black-balled. Managers have severe EGO issues. The plant operation's expectations are to see managers stay at the plant level for 2-3 years. The PM's are too busy making a name for themselves so they can move up to the next level.
