Not the GE it used to be... - Lead Market Intelligence Specialist GE Vernova Employee Review

Lots of reorgs (i.e., layoffs) going down at GE Power as the gas power market is in decline and the company has been grossly mismanaged and is now dealing with decisions made five, ten, even fifteen years ago. Rotationees from DTLP, FMP & JOLP have left GE at the end of their rotations because of the lack of opportunities and stability. With such a turbulent environment, leaders are hesitant to make changes and innovate. Funding for projects get slashed all the time and people left are overworked. Wouldn't recommend working here unless you're a mechanical engineer specializing in rotating equipment...and even then I'd say look elsewhere if you need stability.
