      My salary is very okay.

      Cons

      The company has slowly taken away every benefit that we were promised when we were hired and replaced them with empty promises. The workload gets heavier, the micromanaging gets more intense, and morale is at an all time low. Management uses scare tactics to force employees to do more work for bs pay and if you question it you’re quickly reminded that you can be let go. I’ve watched more coworkers be fired in the last year than I’ve seen over the last 10 years.

      Pros

      Decent pay and remote work.

      Cons

      Poor management at all levels, and high turnover in the IT department. Profit sharing was initially offered when I started in 2013 but disappeared after covid. Management laid off most of the IT staff that had the technical and insurance knowledge in favor of bringing in new staff to transition GEICO into a tech company. Not sure what the status of the IT department is in 2026.
