In good times, the culture was fun and it felt like you were respected by management and a valuable asset as an employee of the company
Cons
Since the layoffs and restructure in the last year, morale is lower than I’ve ever seen in my 10 years of working at GEICO. Management doesn’t know how to improve morale or they just don’t care. They have changed the metrics multiple times and continue to move the needle in regards to what they want you to achieve. Anyone falling in the bottom 25% of results lives in fear of losing their job every day. There hasn’t been promotional opportunities in over a year.
