Pros

You get close to the people you work with. The pay is good. It’s not hard to get approved time off

Cons

4 days in office and 1 day working from home. New change in metrics are not set percentages for the year anymore. they change based off top agents numbers. Meaning you can be doing great and hitting your goal today but tomorrow they can increase the goal without warning and now your not doing so great. Geico doesn’t communicate well with customers when it comes to increases in premiums so the customer calls in irate and the agent has to take the heat. It’s very damaging to your mental health especially now since 85% of the call are regarding increased premium. Back to back calls give you no time to recoup if you have a call were you’re verbally abused by a customer. Job security is gone . Everyone is on edge. They can let you go at anytime. There’s no advancement unless you want to be a supervisor but they fire supervisors left and right

Pros

Interesting problems to work on. Good benefits. Decent pay.

Cons

Managers will gaslight you and upper leadership is constantly changing, so expect projects you're working on to be thrown out every 6 months. Many people burn out and quit after some time and are never back filled, so you'll be expected to take on their workload. Some of my colleagues were working 80 hour work weeks to keep up with the work load and yet told they were not performing well enough. There also wasn't much diversity.
