      It's all about numbers, not people. They combined two dept into one. so you will be doing twice the work for the same money. Constantly moving the metrics. If you like stress and micromanagement, go for it. Monthly audits and Surveys from people who are already upset when they call in. all effects whether you will get a raise. Wasn't for me. Lied to about moving up and the potential from day one

      helpful team members and leadership beautiful facility with lunch room and gym very clean and organized systems

      Decent pay and remote work.

      Cons

      Poor management at all levels, and high turnover in the IT department. Profit sharing was initially offered when I started in 2013 but disappeared after covid. Management laid off most of the IT staff that had the technical and insurance knowledge in favor of bringing in new staff to transition GEICO into a tech company. Not sure what the status of the IT department is in 2026.
