Pros

Very competitive pay for what is essentially an entry level position. Some of the best benefits in the industry. Sales bonus has multipliers so over-performance means huge commission checks. Opportunity to learn and grow very quickly.

Cons

Pretty awful culture, which was the main reason I left. The Google Bureaucracy made getting any small changes done impossible. They are going to milk productivity out of you. It felt like big brother was always watching to make sure I hit a minimum number of productivity points.

Pros

Genuinely friendly team culture and a great atmosphere. Free lunch is a nice perk. Having the Google name was a big plus for sales. This was back when it was still under the original Google name then GFiber was spun off as an independent entity.

Cons

Came to the ISP market late. High turnover. Incredibly convoluted internal processes and procedures. Tools are far from intuitive, and too many events are scheduled without considering that salespeople need to be out selling—not attending events or stuck wrestling with overly complex internal systems. Management seemed confused and directionless.
