Pros

GMR is a very laid back agency environment which emphasizes a balance between work and play. Management knows how to keep employees motivated through perks and outings to local sporting events. GMR has a very impressive client list, and prides itself on being able to meet client goals and objectives. One of the best things about experiential marketing is being able to see all your hard work put into action.

Cons

When you work in event marketing you will often be working long hours, or committing your nights and weekends to work as well. This is because you spend your weekdays in the office, and nights/weekends overseeing the event execution.

Pros

It was a good seasonal opportunity working on the Amazon Program. Pay was decent until I got a promotion that only came with a $50 increase in weekly salary but a major increase in responsibility + poor leadership + HR telling me "you'll make money by saving your per diem".

Cons

Poor leadership. All Field Managers operate differently even though it's the same client (Amazon). The Account Supervisor also admitted that he "wasn't in the weeds" enough to understand my issue of 1) being understaffed on my team and 2) unrealistic expectations that I was supposed to be on-site 8pm-7am working AND by available during regular 9am-5pm business hours to answer questions, When I brought all these concerns to the Field Manager and Account Supervisor but were non-chalant and were unhelpful prompting me to resign within the 1st week. HR doesn't seem to care either because they don't do any type of exit interviews.
