      Tough Times Ahead - Field Marketing Manager GMR Marketing Employee Review

      Pros

      People are facilities are great as well as some of the perks from the clients. They come up with some good ideas however, they seem to do things on the cheep lately or cut some corners and it has shown in some of the programs.

      Cons

      Has lost some major clients and is losing 2 more clients at the end of the year due to mergers and is laying off people. Like most marketing agency's, long hours are expected. Pay is some of the lowest in the industry and Milwaukee isn't the best place to live.

      Pros

      It was a good seasonal opportunity working on the Amazon Program. Pay was decent until I got a promotion that only came with a $50 increase in weekly salary but a major increase in responsibility + poor leadership + HR telling me "you'll make money by saving your per diem".

      Cons

      Poor leadership. All Field Managers operate differently even though it's the same client (Amazon). The Account Supervisor also admitted that he "wasn't in the weeds" enough to understand my issue of 1) being understaffed on my team and 2) unrealistic expectations that I was supposed to be on-site 8pm-7am working AND by available during regular 9am-5pm business hours to answer questions, When I brought all these concerns to the Field Manager and Account Supervisor but were non-chalant and were unhelpful prompting me to resign within the 1st week. HR doesn't seem to care either because they don't do any type of exit interviews.
