      discounts, co-workers, product info, not much else

      Cons

      prefer mom and pop healthfood and vitamin stores, managers of individual stores don't have enough control over their store. everything is too regimented for my tastes. because it's a chain everything is micromanaged by the company

      Generous discount, flexible hours, laidback

      Cons

      Colleagues will often fall to their lack of thorough training and lack of pay. Career progression is also a dead end when you hit store manager unless you want to give 5-10 years of your life to the company for hardly any pay.
