Pros

The only good thing about this job is the 30% discount that employees receive. If you use these products, that is a good discount.

Cons

We are never allowed to work over 40 hours...on the clock. When a new sale needs to be set up, many managers must work late into the night (sometimes off the clock) to get it finished. The work we have to accomplish takes well over 40 hours. The current upper management has made it almost impossible to receive a yearly raise, even for the most seasoned managers and for the managers who hit every nearly impossible goal that we are given. Each month they are adding more and more sales goals for the stores. If you don't reach your goal you are written up. Many managers pay for product they don't want or need to hit the goals. We are expected to do everything...sales, paperwork, wash windows, wax the floors. Good luck getting the tools you need to do the job, unless you want to pay for them out of your own pocket.

Pros

Generous discount, flexible hours, laidback

Cons

Colleagues will often fall to their lack of thorough training and lack of pay. Career progression is also a dead end when you hit store manager unless you want to give 5-10 years of your life to the company for hardly any pay.
