Pros
Nice environment to work in, and in general nice people. The size of the company means there are lots of opportunities though, because something is always changing - so you can get very broad experience if you are willing to re-apply your skills in a different way. Very good at work/life balance and very supportive of flexible working. Salaries seem to be competitive and the bonus and benefits packages are good.
Cons
A bit old fashioned and slow moving. Can be overly risk averse, even for a pharma company. Lack of clear ownership and accountability in some areas makes it very hard to get clear decisions and direction. Good, clear strategy from the very top, but often doesn't get well translated into activity further down the organisation.
