Gallagher began as a family-run insurance agency. While we continue to acquire many other family-run businesses, all Gallagher employees are held accountable for their performance. We are proud of the top talent we are seeing join Gallagher and we are working to continue this trend. Gallagher’s workforce looks much like the rest of the insurance industry, which hasn’t been as diverse as other industries. Our commitment to culture and inclusion means that we are proactively developing new strategies and approaches to reflect the communities we serve and are enhancing our focus on diversity and inclusion. We have been a sponsor of the Dive In Festival in Chicago, Southern Florida and London as well as a sponsor of Business Insurance magazine’s Diversity & Inclusion Conference. We have also brought on a Diversity Recruiter and are expanding our recruitment efforts at historically black colleges. While we have a way to go, we are working to create an environment where everyone thrives.
