Pros

Decent benefits, good pay (if you negotiate it), remote in most instances. Team is great.

Cons

Super old school in a lot of ways, no bonuses, vision/dental coverage is ok. Some offices require hybrid/office days. Vacation time is a joke (10 days for your first few years, in addition to observed holidays). From what I can tell, promotions take a good bit of time and it's difficult to "pitch" for yourself to get a pay raise (they raised our hourly charge rates to clients, but did not give us pay raises).

Pros

The advantages of selling insurance through large corporations have largely disappeared. The environment has shifted toward prioritizing shareholder value over meaningful client and employee relationships.

Cons

Gallagher, like many publicly traded insurance firms, appears focused primarily on share price performance rather than supporting producers or fostering long-term client trust. The culture has become increasingly transactional, leaving little room for genuine professional growth or client advocacy.
