Pros
Working at Galloway has been amazing for the most part. Employees are very friendly and the upper management seems to have a good understanding of how to make not only the company successful but also their employees. There truly are some great people who work here.
Cons
In the surveying department there are the good days and bad days but it feels like it’s more bad then good because the project managers would rather spend hours finding one thing wrong in your work and make a big deal out of it instead of focusing on the positive. Also the hours and schedule are unpredictable, you can work an entire week of 8-9 hour days knowing what you’re day to day tasks are or you could have the complete opposite and be working 10+ hour days with the schedule only being made the moment you walk in the door only for that schedule to be thrown out the window two hours later and still be criticized for not finishing your work or “coming in too early”.
