Pros
Working in residential care at Gandara is very important work, and it’s a great way to gain experience in the human services fields. The floor staff for program I have worked with is generally very competent.
Cons
There is very little support from upper admin. The programs are constantly understaffed which results in staff who do work there working overtime whether they volunteer too or not every week. If you need insurance or anything else from HR you have to massively pester them to hear anything back.
