Pros
-Pay is alright compared to most security jobs, -Depending on your location you are mostly left alone and aren't micromanaged. -Very easy job (depending on location of course) - Decent dental insurance - Getting time off isn't bad and they usually accommodate
Cons
-No raises or promotions even after 2 years of work and even receiving employee of the month (just a $100 bonus and a handshake.) -Can't leave the job for a better job for the client you do security for. (Example being if an office job that pays way more pops up at the place you do security for and you apply you will be denied the job due to a contract in place with Garda. Even if you decide to quit, you'll have to still wait 6 months to be able to work at the place you did security for.) -Health insurance isn't very good at all.
