Pros
Pessimists and cynics be damned! Knowing that your work is contributing to patient's lives gives a great sense of pride and purpose in the work done here. There is a great deal of pride in the fact that the company is consistently listed as one of the best places to work in the bay area. This translates in high interest and motivation in maintaining the healthy culture that keeps employees happy. With the company's great reputation at many levels, many people want to come work here, and we often end up working with some really great people.
Cons
The company has a great reputation and attracts great and not so great people (the not so great don't last long - that's a pro). Relatively speaking I hear we tend to get paid less than other companies do? A lot of work (but also a lot of resources for you to learn to work smarter not harder).
