Pros

Has a pension plan and standard benefits. Larger company with many offices and variety of jobs throughout the US. Will provide paid training if needed for job function.

Cons

The only way to advance and get more pay is to leave the company and come back. Recent layoffs resulted in company loosing key people that had been there for years even though they weren't part of the layoffs. The loss of big contracts lead to the layoffs, loss of bonuses, hiring stopage, and no more company building activities. Company hasn't been keeping up with more trendy companies and therefore is stuck in the past.

Pros

Managers are very supportive and foster growth while challenging you. Semi flexible schedule - can come in early or stay late to meet required hours. Decent pay, tuition reimbursement, 401k matching, Mentorship opportunities

Cons

Leadership tends to get ahead of themselves with potential large contracts. Begin to invest a lot of time and money prior to contracts being awarded. Could be more clear on company goals and mission. Limited salary increase when changing roles.
