      Pros

      GDIT has a Great Team consisting of experienced and knowledgeable managers who care for their employees. I have found the company to be a solid partner in my career, with an abundance of opportunities for advancement over the years.

      Cons

      The typical cons of any large scale company. Big companies have to have oversight on programs that small companies do not. There are reasons that employees need to fill out paperwork for expenditures; hint: it's not because the company hates you :)

      Pros

      The company has your back; it shows how much it cares for its employees. Personnel moves are done in a way that makes sense, and they often put the right person in the right job and make changes quickly when necessary.

      Cons

      As contractors, you are bound to what the customer asks. And there is not much control over it, since you are contractually bound to support that customer. Even then, GDIT corporate makes sure to reach a good middle ground when changes are requested.

      Good pay and flexible telecommute options

      Cons

      Extremely basic benefit offerings. There also seems to be a very wide chasm between GDIT internal (management/corporate) and front-line staff who are focused on the contract.
