Pros

Pay was decent, I had a fantastic supervisor, good sense of community when you get put with the right team, upper management at our site was lovely and did the best they could.

Cons

Lack of flexibility, attendance points policy, care more about the contract than the employees, holidays were sparse, blatant favoritism amongst the lower management/supervisors towards certain employees.

Pros

The company has your back; it shows how much it cares for its employees. Personnel moves are done in a way that makes sense, and they often put the right person in the right job and make changes quickly when necessary.

Cons

As contractors, you are bound to what the customer asks. And there is not much control over it, since you are contractually bound to support that customer. Even then, GDIT corporate makes sure to reach a good middle ground when changes are requested.

Pros

Good pay and flexible telecommute options

Cons

Extremely basic benefit offerings. There also seems to be a very wide chasm between GDIT internal (management/corporate) and front-line staff who are focused on the contract.
