HR is a little ridiculous with their policies of moving within the company. If you strongly dislike your position and want to move within your first year there, good luck. They take a ridiculous amount of time to submit you in for a clearance. Poor management, basically non existent. If my project failed, i would be put on the bench (over head). So i have to go out of my way to find myself another gig inside the company to keep myself billable. The entire setup is ridiculous. Almost every other line of business in GDMS gets great reviews minus the one im in.
