      Pros

      GD seems to be getting better. Decent job security and somewhat interesting work. Flex time is a great benefit along with off Fridays.

      Cons

      There is a lot of bureaucracy and things tend to be more process oriented (and thus projects move very slowly).

      Pros

      Great Benefits if transferring to full-time status. Extremely established leadership hierarchy. Many experienced engineers willing to help develop a newer engineers' skill set.

      Cons

      If you primarily enjoy being more hands-on environments smaller companies might be a better option. Not necessarily a con but becoming 'shoe-boxed' is much more likely at a larger organization.
