Pros
Decent pay, benefits, hours (usually OT if you want), schedule, and there are opportunities to move up to different positions, even if you start in a trade.
Cons
Pay is decent for the job but still insufficient to live in SD county with any degree of comfort. You either need to be married to someone making good dough, live with your parents, or work a ton of OT to make it. Most of the workers avoid this by commuting from the Imperial Valley or from TJ everyday and the company is all too happy to exploit that. Frequent peaks and valleys in workload so layoffs are common.
