On the Kyle, if you work as a Conductor or Engineer you won’t have much of a personal life. You get two days off guaranteed a week but besides that you’ll be on call. You only have a rough idea of when you may get called but it can and will change often or you may not even be called in at all. You usually won’t know how long you’ll be working, what time you’ll be off, or what you’ll be doing that day until you get into work and get started.
