All benefits are usually available after probationary period of 60 or 90 days -PTO and sick time (FULL TIME EMPLOYEES ONLY) -3 free pairs a year (June, December, and your birth month) -Exposure to operations regarding RX fulfillment and optician processes
Cons
-No employee discounts -Inconsistency of training standards within retail location -Poor upper management (Store Manager and above) -No incentive to promote sales (Bonus was mentioned if sales goals were met; never received or was not eligible despite being a top seller) -Groomed to assume responsibilities given to the Licensed Optician; when brought to the attention of Store Manager, I was denied a raise but was expected to continue “helping out the team”
