Pros
A weigh-station for a lot of people who are just starting out. You get the opportunity to put in a lot of time, which gives you the chance to hone your skills. The company will give you a perspective on work life that you can use as a basis for measuring your growth once you move on.
Cons
As many reviewers have said, the pay is low and the hours are long. I was hired at $68K, which is high for this place from what I've learned. On a standard 40 hr work week, that amounts to $32.69 per hour. However, over the past year, I was required to put in 3103 hours, which effectively makes my pay $21.91 per hour or $45.5K per year. My situation is what it's like for most everyone here, in some cases worse, in some cases maybe a little better. Think about what a deal the owner gets with this kind of practice and how much less your own precious time is worth! When you do the numbers, things get really bleak.
