Good people to work with who are motivated to want the best for students
Cons
De-centralized departments lead to interdepartmental fighting, non-cooperation. Budget cuts keep leading to more and more job responsibilities being placed on workers for no more financial compensation or even recognition. Lots of burned out workers.
