A great recruiting process setting up great hopes - then the cool-aid quickly ferments when assigned to a remote location outside Atlanta. You are on you own and subjected to immense questioning of decisions that must be made daily - these question quickly involve your personal commitment, character, motives and dignity; something I've never encountered in 27 years of exemplary results producing Leadership positions I've held with smaller and much larger companies! No raises or bonuses in 3 years even though my site produced Division and site best Safety/Quality/Service/Cost and financial results. Severe micromanagement which defies anything close to the "guiding principle" Principled Entrepreneurship. Somewhat understandable considering current significant financial losses in Gypsum but not at all good considering the total lack of common sense and logic in Atlanta!
