• I’ve found that the executive team, when approached with concerns, genuinely listens and does their best to find a solution. • New ideas and approaches are welcomed. My opinion is heard and valued. • HR team is continuously working on new initiatives that benefit current employees, but that will also make a well-rounded offering to prospects. HR is also working hard to put more social events on the calendar to bring the team together on a more so groups that don’t work together on a daily basis can get to know each other. • The health insurance is some of the best coverage I’ve had in my 14+ years of corporate life. • The company offers 401k matching, which was not the case with some of my former employers. • In the year+ I’ve been with the company, I’ve seen the executive team make a concerted effort to communicate more frequently with the team on opportunities under consideration and the current state of the business. • Lunch is brought in twice a week and the kitchen is always stocked. This may be taken for granted in the Silicon Valley area, but coming to work for the company from out-of-state where this isn’t the standard, I really appreciate it.
Cons
GetInsured is a growing business in a changing market, so there are bound to be some adjustments and course corrections. I don’t necessarily see this as a “con” but an opportunity for growth and a chance for GetInsured to continue to evolve as the needs of its consumers do. As states, businesses and even consumer learn more about the impact of the ACA, their needs are shifting, and will likely continue to do so. GetInsured is small enough to be nimble and adjust, yet large enough to make an impact in the broker space.
