Pros

Depending on the state exchange you wind up in, you could have good management and suitable supervision. Compensation is decent, holiday scheduling can be good if you're directly hired and not through an agency. They train and attempt to hire from within.

Cons

Depending on the state exchange you wind up in, and where it is in development, your days and hours and schedules and growth and opportunities could be anywhere from 'available' to 'not a chance'. Ironically, the insurance offered by an insurance company is itself laughable. Cheap ICHRA won't cover anything, also you then can't qualify for your own state's tax credits.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I wanted to take a moment to respond to your comment on the health insurance available to call center teams. We chose the ICHRA format for the call center group because it is more cost effective and provides a reasonable amount of coverage for those entry level positions. Each employee has the right to choose a plan that is most beneficial and cost effective for them and their families. Many of our call center roles are part-time and/or seasonal, so our standard full-time benefits are not offered to this population, but we want to be able to offer helpful coverage to the team, despite their part-time/seasonal status. The company also shares in the cost of the coverage by providing a monthly amount to the employee to cover the cost of premiums.
